Our pieces start from $699 for a hallway table, $999 for a coffee table, and $1,899 for a dining table. Final pricing depends on the timber species, dimensions, leg style, and finish you choose. How long does it take to make a custom piece?

Most pieces are completed within approximately one week when the queue is clear. During busier periods it may take a little longer — we'll always give you an honest timeframe when you commission. We work through orders one at a time, giving every piece the full attention it deserves. We don't rush. We never will.

What is live-edge timber?

Live-edge timber is a slab of wood where one or both edges retain the natural profile of the original tree — the bark line, curves, knots and organic contours are left intact rather than being cut square. No two live-edge slabs are the same, which means every piece we make is truly one of a kind.

Yes — that's one of our core promises. Every commission comes with a free, detailed 3D render of your specific piece within 24 hours of receiving your brief. You can see exactly how your chosen timber, leg style, and dimensions will look together before a single cut is made. No surprises, no guesswork.

What timber species do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We primarily work with Australian hardwoods recovered from fallen trees — Blackwood, River Red Gum, Spotted Gum, Camphor Laurel, and Silky Oak are among our most common species. Availability changes as new timber is recovered. When you submit your commission brief, we'll match you with the best available slab for your project.

Is your timber sustainably sourced?

100%. We never fell a tree. Every slab we work with comes from trees that have already fallen — storm-cleared, road-cleared, or naturally felled from properties and bushland across Australia. The timber is recovered, milled into slabs, and air-dried for 12–24 months in our workshop before we consider it for a commission. Zero trees felled. Zero waste.

Do you ship outside Canberra?

Yes — we ship Australia wide. Our workshop is in Canberra, ACT, but we work with clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and everywhere in between. All pieces are carefully packed and delivered direct to your door. Freight costs are included in your quote.

How does the commission process work?

It's simple: fill in our design brief (it takes about 5 minutes), choosing your piece type, timber species, dimensions, leg style and finish. Within 24 hours we'll come back with a free 3D render of your piece and a personalised quote. Once you're happy and confirm, your piece joins the queue. No obligation until you confirm.

Question 9

Do you offer a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every piece comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. Timber is a natural material and will expand, contract, and develop character over time — this is part of what makes each piece unique, not a defect. We're always available after delivery if you have questions about care and maintenance.

Can I supply my own timber slab?

Accepted Answer

In some cases, yes. If you have a slab you'd like us to work with, get in touch via the commission form and tell us about it — species, dimensions, moisture content if known. We'll let you know if it's suitable for your project and factor it into the quote.
